Lowell, MA (November 8, 2010)— NMTW Community Credit Union (NMTW CCU) is inviting everyone to “Invest in Yourself and Invest in Your Community” with Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins. NMTW CCU is teaming up with the popular hockey player to increase public awareness of NMTW CCU’s products and services. The kick-off to this new partnership is the “Invest in Yourself and Invest in Your Community” promotion which begins today and gives new members the opportunity to receive a $20 deposit to their account and pick one of NMTW CCU’s charitable partners to receive a $20 deposit.
“This summer, we sponsored a Rock and Jock celebrity softball game for charity which Milan Lucic hosted,” stated NMTW Community Credit Union President and CEO Ken Del Rossi. “It gave us the opportunity to see firsthand that Milan shares the same values and commitment to the community that we have at NMTW.” Del Rossi went on to say, “Our first promotion with Milan will introduce new members to the benefits of credit union membership and give us the opportunity to support worthwhile organizations in the communities that we serve.”
From now until the end of the year, to take part in “Invest in Yourself and Invest in Your Community”, a new member must print out an Invest in Yourself ticket from www.nmtw.org/promotions and bring it into a branch location and open a savings, checking, and debit card. The new member will receive a $20 deposit to their account, an autographed picture of Milan Lucic, and will get to pick one of NMTW CCU’s charitable partners to receive a $20 donation.
